As the construction industry gears up for a well-deserved Christmas break, Construction Management reveals the 10 most-read stories on the website this year.
In a year that saw Qatar host the 2022 World Cup, it was perhaps fitting that there was a footballing theme to the list this year, with stadium construction projects around the UK generating significant interest.
In addition to CM’s round-up of the top football stadium construction projects at the start of the year, readers have also been following Laing O’Rourke’s progress at Everton FC’s Bramley-Moore Dock stadium with interest.
Meanwhile, issues around building safety, and particularly cladding and non-combustible insulation, remained prominent throughout the year.
And in a sign that construction continues to undergo a cultural shift, CM’s legal article on when construction banter goes too far also featured in the top 10.
