BAM has called on construction firms to deliver added social values as part of their projects or face the prospect of losing work.

BAM has been appointed to create a net zero pathfinder school by the government, with the aim of shaping future school design.

The Global BIM Network will stage its first AGM on 2 December.

Arup and BAM are among a group of construction companies to become the latest ‘carbon leaders’ under the CO2nstructZero initiative, which is co-ordinating cross-sector activities to drive carbon out of construction.

BAM is working with researchers at the University of Strathclyde to investigate how fungi could prevent landslips.
