Leadership initiative launched for women in construction 

With the support of government funding, the Women in Leadership programme uses a challenge-based learning model shaped by real-world scenarios. 

Participants are expected to gain:

• Core leadership skills – influencing, communication, strategic thinking, decision-making.
• Practical strategies – confidence-building exercises and real-world leadership challenges.
• Collaborative learning – ongoing coaching and peer learning for sustained growth.
• Industry professional training – delivered by experienced leaders who understand the unique challenges women face in leadership.
• Contemporary tools – structured to minimise disruption to day-to-day work.

Alison Kwan, head of operations at The Coders Guild, said: "This programme isn’t about ticking boxes – it’s about equipping women with the real-world tools, confidence, and networks they need to make an impact.
