Video | Willmott Dixon builds Wimbledon tennis players’ facilities

Willmott Dixon is on course to complete a £70m project to build new members’ and players’ facilities for the All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon.

The project, scheduled to complete in autumn this year, involves the construction of 12 new courts and new facilities for members and competitors.

The facilities on Somerset Road replace old indoor courts and feature a double-curved roof structure and surrounding landscaping to help them blend into the local area.

The project was designed by architect Hopkins and the quantity surveyor is Turner & Townsend.
