A flooring robot developed by an Israeli start-up has undergone proof-of-concept trials.
The flooring robot has been developed by Easy Floors Robotics. The start-up claims it can create precision flooring in half the time compared with traditional flooring methods and cuts 75% of the workforce that is usually required. Furthermore, it “creates a high-level finish that no human hand can achieve”.
The robot can work with all types of polymer, Easy Floors states, including liquid-like epoxy and powder-like micro topping or decorative concrete. It can even apply linoleum made of cork.
The robot and Easy Floors chief executive and co-founder, Lior Ferdman, recently appeared on the Israeli version of Dragons’ Den.
