On World Mental Health Day, the National Association of Women in Construction is encouraging construction organisations to bolster the workplace support offered to female employees.

A Wates-sponsored survey has found that eight in 10 menopausal women say their workplace has no basic support to help with menopause symptoms.

The majority of construction businesses are failing to offer employees support to deal with the menopause and could lose skilled workers as a result.
