Construction projects can now benefit from a rapid internet connectivity service that gives sites and temporary developments fully operational internet access within five days.
Wifinity APEX delivers a quick and reliable internet connection, even in remote, hard-to-reach locations, Wifinity claims.
“We’ve worked closely with contractors and developers to design a service that meets the realities of site-based work,” said Rob Lombardi, construction sector lead at Wifinity. “Our delivery and support models allow sites to mobilise quickly.”
The modular hardware bundles and scalable service levels include:
- multiple non-fixed connectivity options, including Starlink and 5G/LTE;
- unlimited data eSIMs for all four UK carriers;
- high-performance external antenna housed in field-ready hardware;
- security built-in with VPN, firewall and data encryption options; and
- end-to-end lifecycle support options.
It is supported by a 24/7 service, including remote monitoring, support and troubleshooting. Customers can choose from purchase or rental and self-install or engineer setup options.
Wifinity APEX is available nationwide.
Wifinity also supports long-term construction projects with full site surveys, fixed WAN options, and enterprise-grade managed networks. It can manage the transition from rapid connectivity to fixed WAN options.
Wifinity customers include the Ministry of Defence, Mitie and the University of Glasgow.
