
An industry fuel-saving ‘tournament’ is one of the ideas in draft proposals put forward by the construction industry to help slash diesel use by 78% by 2035.
The Construction Leadership Council’s CO2nstruct Zero campaign set the target to cut diesel use by 78% by 2035 last year.
Since then, a group of contractors, plant firms, clients and trade bodies have established a plan for achieving the target.
They have now published a consultation draft called the ‘Zero diesel sites route map’.
