Nima has announced changes to its structure, involving Casey Rutland, Emma Hooper and David Glennon.

Rutland, formerly a nima vice-chair, has become a non-executive director of the organisation, representing the buildingSMART UK & Ireland chapter. He joins Malcolm Taylor (former head of technical information at Crossrail), Blane Judd (chief executive of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers) and Elaine Lewis (managing director of Cadventure) on the non-executive director board.

As non-executive directors, they are not involved in the day-to-day running of nima, but provide governance, strategic direction and overview. Rutland will continue as chair of buildingSmart UK & Ireland.
