A Carlisle-based engineering firm is delivering a major digital screen installation project at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium for the 2025-26 season.
The club has appointed Peacock Precision Services to undertake surveying and installation work for new large-scale digital screens at its home ground.
The project involves specialist preparation and structural works to enable the integration of the screens within the stadium’s existing infrastructure.
It also requires precision engineering and careful coordination with other stadium operations.
The Peacock team were on site last week to set the steels to allow the digital screens to be hung from the roof.
Peacock Precision Services’s managing director, Kieron Peacock, said: “We are extremely proud to be part of this exciting development at the Etihad Stadium.
“It’s a landmark project in a city where we’ve already forged strong working relationships, and to be trusted with such a prominent and technically demanding installation at one of the most iconic football stadiums in Europe is a great endorsement of the standard of work our team delivers.
“It shows how far we have come as a business over the last seven years. From surveying a single house on a one-plot development to working on a project at one of Europe’s top football stadiums.”
