Legal & General modular business to double workforce

Legal & General Modular Homes is to hire an extra 350 people, more than doubling its existing workforce, as it starts a major modular development in Bristol.

The business is to build 185 new homes, comprising two- to four-bedroom houses and one- to two-bedroom apartments for Bristol City Council at Bonnington Walk in Lockleaze, Bristol.

The homes, which will achieve an energy performance certificate (EPC) standard A will feature air source heat pumps, photovoltaic cells and will be assembled on site within eight weeks.
