The Health and Safety Executive is establishing a Building Safety Regulator and has created a new role to lead it.
The Building Safety Regulator is designed to protect residents across the UK by keeping high-rise buildings safe.
The Principal Building Safety Regulator will manage delivery of regulatory compliance for high-risk buildings. The post holder will lead a team including building control and fire safety specialists.
The role also has the opportunity to shape the way building control and in-occupation functions work, driving continuous improvement using performance management systems.
