Greenwich council in London is seeking an offsite housing firm to build offsite homes in the borough under a deal worth £320m.
The council said it was seeking a single “turnkey” provider that can design, manufacture and install new homes using predominantly offsite manufactured products and systems.
A contract notice published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) said: “The provider will be required to provide a full design service and act as principal designer. The provider shall undertake feasibility studies and develop schemes through the RIBA Plan of Work Stages 1-4 including obtaining full planning consent. The provider shall manufacture OSM buildings and undertake all site construction to deliver new homes (RIBA Plan of Work stages 5-7).
