The EU is funding a cross-industry project to develop digital product passports to support the circular economy. Cobuilder is leading the consortium charged with developing and piloting the passports in construction.

The project is part of the CIRPASS-2 initiative, which will showcase functioning digital product passports (DPPs) through 13 circular pilots in various sectors, including construction, textiles, electronics and tyres.

The construction pilot focuses on improving information exchange and collaboration throughout the construction product lifecycle using the DPP and interoperable open standards.
