A 494m-long suspension bridge for hikers has opened in Randa, Switzerland. Those alpinists brave enough to make the crossing will be treated to views of the Matterhorn, Weisshorn and Bernese Alps.

The Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge links the Swiss villages of Zermatt and Grächen on the Europaweg trail. It enables hikers to take a path that runs between 1,600m and 2,200m above sea level, and includes the deepest cut valley in Switzerland.
