Three contractors have signed a £500m deal with Transport for London to deliver a range of major road improvement projects over the next four years.
Under the deal Costain, Skanska and Morgan Sindall will work with TfL to design and build projects that will transform highways, reduce dangers on the roads, improve journey reliability and encourage cycling and walking.
Schemes delivered using the framework are likely to include projects such as the proposed Fiveways scheme in Croydon and the removal of the Vauxhall gyratory, as well as major asset renewal and upgrades such as the A40 Westway structure.
