Job losses from Carillion have now topped 1,450, according to an update from the Official Receiver.
It was announced this week that a further 87 Carillion staff have been laid off, taking the total number of redundancies following its collapse to 1,458.
Approximately 7,500 employees have been retained to enable Carillion to deliver the remaining services it is providing for public and private sector customers until decisions are taken to transfer or cease these contracts. To date a total of 8,216 jobs have been saved.
