Bouygues boosts paternity leave policy

Bouygues UK has enhanced its paternity leave policy, allowing new fathers to take up to eight weeks of paternity leave on full pay.  

Currently, the law for UK companies allows two weeks of statutory paternity leave and pay. 

One of the biggest discrepancies in the gender equality gap is parenthood, with women still often automatically assumed the primary caregiver. The improved paternity leave policy aims to benefit parents across Bouygues’ workforce, regardless of their gender.
