Aecom has expanded its role on the Bio Istanbul project, a £1.4bn biomedical science park linked to an advanced children’s hospital and a sustainable residential community.
As well as its existing roles on cost, programme and project consultancy, Aecom is now acting as operational management adviser. It will provide ongoing FM and operational management advice during the design development, develop an FM business model, and a strategy for the future delivery of FM services.
When completed, Bio Istanbul will accommodate 15,000 residents and a further 20,000 commuters.
