A host of major contractors, including Sir Robert McAlpine, Bouygues and Wates, will take part in next week’s Morta community day.

The community day marks the seventh anniversary of the no-code platform used by major clients, consultancies and contractors to replace spreadsheets with connected information hubs.

More than 200 construction professionals have already signed up to attend the virtual event on 14 November.

The first half of the event focuses on data-driven project delivery and tracking, with presentations from Wates division SES Engineering Services, Sir Robert McAlpine, the Bouygues TP-Murphy JV and the Arup-Mott MacDonald JV.

The second half of the event focuses on practical applications of Morta, with presentations from Project Four Safety, Stantec and Kane Group.

Morta CEO and co-founder Mohammad Shana’a said: “Our goal with the community day is to celebrate the solutions our information and digital managers have built using Morta and to inspire, educate, and foster a culture of shared excellence across the built environment. We believe the Morta community is one of the few places where theory meets action and where members are empowered to solve the real challenges they face.

“What really stands out this year is how several community members are showcasing their journeys of organisation-wide change, demonstrating how they are scaling the use of Morta across their businesses to drive transformation at every level. From supporting end-to-end data-driven project delivery to practical use cases in building safety, resource planning and information tracking, there is something here for everyone interested in digitally transforming the industry.”

Morta’s technology featured in four shortlisted entries at the Digital Construction Awards 2025. A month prior to the awards, Morta announced a strategic partnership with Symetri
