The role of information management in disputes is a key topic at this year’s Digital Construction Summit.

Information management best practice can help prevent disputes arising or defend them when they arise. In a webinar on 26 September, organised by BIMplus and Construction Management, HKA Global technical director and IM4Legal member Sarah Keyte will discuss the importance of record keeping, and reveal the common information management errors and their impact on disputes.

In the second half of the webinar, Ideagen Mail Manager senior client manager George Emeny will focus on an often-neglected part of information management: email management. Email is by far the most common project correspondence tool, but poor management can mean project information is lost and time wasted searching emails. Poor email management can also contribute to disputes.

Register now to watch the webinar. It is free to attend and will be broadcast live. Those who watch live – via their bespoke registration link – will qualify for an hour’s CPD credit.

The webinar will be recorded and will be available to watch on demand a few hours after the live broadcast.

This webinar is part of the Digital Construction Summit, which takes place on 24-26 September. Summit partners are the Chartered Institute of Building, Atvero, Ideagen Mail Manager and Trimble.

The Summit’s opening webinar will answer FAQs about AI in construction. A third webinar, focused on the golden thread, will be announced later this week.
