The industry has until 21 January to comment on the draft version of ISO 19650-6. The standard outlines how information management can support health and safety.

The draft of ISO 19650-6 outlines the concepts and principles to ensure that health and safety information is classified, shared and delivered collaboratively, ensuring the economic, environmental and social benefits are secured.

Specifically, it specifies requirements for the collaborative sharing of structured health and safety information throughout the project and asset lifecycles, and supports the digitisation of structured health and safety information in the project and asset lifecycles progressively from the outset.
