Galliford Try’s Barry Kingscote crowned CIOB Construction Manager of the Year

He described the project as the most complex in his four decades-long career in construction. The completed building in 1-4 Marble Arch provides 57,000 square feet of contemporary office space across seven floors.

Speaking after picking up his award, Kingscote, who also claimed the top prize in the Construction Manager commercial category, said he was delighted to be recognised while paying tribute to the team which supported him.

He added: "I can’t put the feeling into words. To go against all these fantastic managers in so many fields and to come out on top is just so surprising. It’s an honour and I would like to congratulate everyone who has been recognised."
