German formwork and scaffold supplier Doka is pleased to announce that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact – a voluntary initiative for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.
By joining, Doka joins thousands of other companies globally committed to taking responsible business action to create the world we all want.

The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with 10 universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 25,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Networks.
“Reaching net zero by 2040 is a clear strategic goal for Doka. Joining the UN Global Compact is therefore a logical next step that reinforces this path and, together with our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative, demonstrates that we are taking the right steps towards this ambition,” said Robert Hauser, CEO of Doka.
By joining the UN Global Compact, Doka becomes part of a global network committed to responsible business conduct. As a participant, the company will report transparently on its progress towards the 10 principles and contribute to advancing human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility and anti-corruption – alongside leading construction and engineering companies such as Skanska, Vinci, Strabag and Bouygues Construction.
