More than 9,000 people attended Digital Construction Week (DCW) over its two days at the start of June – a 4% year-on-year increase. There were 7,100 unique attendees, drawn not just from the UK, but also from the likes of Malaysia, Finland and Australia.
The show marked its 10th anniversary with 230 sessions across 10 dedicated stages, 150 exhibitors, a DeLorean and the Oracle Red Bull Racing Simulator.
David John Varghese, principal engineer at AtkinsRéalis, said: “The atmosphere at DCW was palpable. Beyond the impressive software and hardware demonstrations, there was a strong undercurrent of conversation focused on implementation, adoption, and the cultural shifts necessary to make these technologies truly effective.”
Get It Right Initiative executive director Cliff Smith added: “I was struck by the energy, the expertise and the sheer commitment on display to driving better construction outcomes and greater productivity through technology.”
Eleco CEO Jonathan Hunter reflected: “DCW 2025 was a testament to the industry’s commitment to embracing digital transformation and innovation, paving the way for a more efficient and sustainable future in construction.”
10 years of progress
DCW event director Karolina Orecchini said: “DCW 2025 was a celebration of how far we’ve come over the last decade, and a powerful reminder of why this event matters. We owe this year’s success to our incredible exhibitors, speakers, and community. Their energy, insight and willingness to collaborate are what make DCW so impactful. This show has always been about pushing the industry forward together, and this year proved just how much we can achieve when we do.”
Next year’s show will take place on 3-4 June.
But before that, the DCW team will be in Manchester for the second edition of Digital Construction North later this year. Taking place on 19 November at Manchester Central, the one-day event will bring together leading voices, emerging technology and regional expertise to drive digital progress in the built environment.
