Dame Judith Hackitt’s ‘golden thread’ and its implications for digital asset records will be one of the headline topics at this year’s Digital Construction Summit.
This key annual event for digital decision-makers in the built environment sector, takes place on 3 June 2020 at the America Square Conference Centre in the City of London. Construction Manager and BIMplus are media partners.
The event will bring together government, clients, contractors, architects, consultants and suppliers, who will assess construction’s digital progress, and examine the policies, trends and innovations that will shape the industry over the coming years.
The use of 3D modelling and structured asset data to improve building safety will be discussed by speakers including Dan Hollas, fire safety projects director at Clarion, the UK’s housing largest housing association.
Aecom’s global BIM director David Philp will chair a panel discussion with the CIOB’s digital special interest group, which will also feature the Government Property Agency’s client solutions lead Roy Evans. Other speakers will be announced over the coming months.
The event, which around 200 industry professionals are expected to attend, will also feature break-out sessions, audience interaction and an exhibitor area showcasing cutting-edge technology.
