Scotland’s construction professionals will come together in Glasgow next month to celebrate the individuals and teams making a positive contribution to the built environment.
The 2026 CIOB Scotland Awards will take place on 9 October at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central, bringing together finalists, industry professionals, CIOB members and their guests for an afternoon of celebration and networking.
The awards recognise achievement across Scotland’s built environment, with this year’s finalists competing across five categories: Extra Mile, Graduate, Rising Star, Sustainability and Team.
Among those shortlisted are individuals from organisations including SP Energy Networks, Graham Group, Morgan Sindall, Allied Surveyors Scotland, AtkinsRéalis, McConnell, Robertson Construction and Kier Construction. Team finalists include projects and initiatives involving Muir Group, Morgan Sindall and SP Energy Networks.
The winners will be announced at the gala lunch, which will run from 1pm to 6pm and will feature food, drinks, entertainment and opportunities to network with colleagues from across Scotland’s construction and built environment sectors.
The event will also recognise professionals who have achieved CIOB’s MCIOB or FCIOB designation during 2026. New chartered and fellowship members will have the opportunity to receive their certificates on stage and mark the professional milestone alongside colleagues and fellow CIOB members.
The awards are supported by Peace Recruitment and Training LMS, with limited Silver and Bronze sponsorship opportunities still available.
CIOB Scotland regional manager Lynne McKay said the quality of this year’s finalists had been particularly strong, highlighting the breadth of contribution being made across the profession – from emerging talent and sustainability to teamwork and going the extra mile for colleagues and communities.
The awards are open to CIOB members and non-members, with the organisation positioning the event as an opportunity for the wider construction community to recognise achievement and build connections across the sector.
Individual tickets are priced at £90, while student and MCIOB recognition tickets are available for £50. A table of 10 costs £900.
The event is for attendees aged 18 and over.
