Real PM has promoted Chris Burns MCIOB to associate director as part of a series of appointments and promotions supporting the project management consultancy’s growth.
Burns, a chartered construction manager with more than 20 years’ industry experience, has delivered commercial office, mixed-use, residential, healthcare and education projects.
At Real PM, he has played a key role in major schemes, including Lansdowne House in Mayfair, a 10-storey, 225,000 sq ft office development that will become Blackstone’s European headquarters. Real PM is acting as employer’s agent and programme manager on the project, which is due to be completed towards the end of 2027.
In his new role, Burns will work alongside the directors to support business growth, drive innovation and strengthen project delivery.
Managing director Barry Fowler said the promotion recognised Burns’ contribution to the business and its projects over several years.“Following the company’s continued success and growth, Chris’s promotion reflects the important role he has played in delivering our projects and the wider contribution he has made to Real PM over many years,” he said.
The consultancy has also promoted Lucy Cook to senior project manager and appointed Ed Bryant as senior planning manager. Earlier this year, Adam Jasinek and Tom Howse joined as senior project managers, Sophie Bowen was appointed project coordinator and Roxanne Darlington finance coordinator.
The appointments reflect Real PM’s continued expansion across its established commercial office market and into sectors including life sciences, energy, sports and stadia, hospitality and culture.
The consultancy provides project and programme management, planning expertise and logistics advice on complex schemes across the UK.
