CIOB Awards is accepting new entries until 31 August 2023. Entries can be submitted online here.
The awards, formerly known as the Construction Manager of the Year Awards, celebrate the construction industry’s most influential managers and leaders.
Categories include Client of the Year and Team of the Year, plus the influential Construction Manager of the Year. There are also categories recognising teams and individuals paving the way for sustainability and equality, diversity and inclusion.
The most recent Construction Manager of the Year award was won by Kier’s Joe O’Connell for his work on Exeter’s St Sidwell’s Point Leisure Centre. His team also took home the CIOB Team of the Year award for the same project.
CIOB will reveal the list of finalists later this year.
The awards ceremony will be hosted by the Chartered Institute of Building at London Hilton Metropole on 9 April 2024.
Caroline Gumble, CIOB chief executive, said: ”The CIOB Awards provides an important platform to cheerlead for our sector and to share the stories of some of the best and brightest built environment professionals.
“I am absolutely delighted that we have now confirmed a new date for the awards and can look forward to celebrating this important industry in the spring next year.
“I know there are many people who are doing amazing and innovative work within construction and I can’t wait to see them recognised and celebrated for their achievements.”
CIOB announced in May that it was postponing this year’s CIOB Awards until 2024. Those who had already submitted their entries will have their entry automatically included in the 2024 CIOB Awards judging process.
