Women succeeding in construction, drawn from across the world and the supply chain, will discuss their challenges and their successes in the opening webinar of the Global Construction Summit 2024.
The Summit is the key annual event for built environment professionals seeking to understand the latest trends, learn best practice and uncover innovations from across the world.

The opening webinar, a panel debate entitled Breaking down barriers: women succeeding in construction, will take place on Tuesday 20 February at 3pm GMT.
The panellists include:
Sandi Rhys Jones OBE, president of the CIOB;
Raj Singh, prison infrastructure team, principal project sponsor – construction lead at the Ministry of Justice;
Rachael Jones, director/lead transitions of JLL MENA;
Kelly McClellen, co-chairperson of the International Union of Operating Engineers Sisters Leadership Committee, and secretary of Heartland Women In Trades; and
Emma Ayesu-Koranteng, chartered construction manager, and senior lecturer and head of department – Building and Human Settlement Development at Nelson Mandela University.
The Summit webinars are free to watch and broadcast live. Each webinar is qualifies for an hour’s CPD credits for those who complete them live. Recordings are available to watch on demand shortly after the live broadcast.
