
Barratt Redrow, the UK’s largest housebuilder, is adopting the Nexus ReGen materials exchange platform across its nationwide operations.
The housebuilder selected Nexus ReGen following a rigorous evaluation of nationally proven technology. Through Nexus ReGen’s Project DataPoint capability, Barratt Redrow will be able to capture and manage heavy construction materials data consistently across projects and partners, strengthening its compliance and reporting alongside practical reuse and waste-reduction outcomes.
As Barratt Redrow’s central materials intelligence tool, the Nexus ReGen platform supports the following use cases:
- optimising materials to reduce landfill waste;
- importing sustainable, cost-effective materials;
- reusing materials across operations and projects;
- compliance tracking and reporting; and
- digital waste tracking through a centralised system.
Data collection and deployment across projects and the supply chain begin this month.
Long-term opportunities
The multi-year agreement also opens the door to longer-term strategic opportunities. Barratt Redrow plans to broaden its supply chain through the Nexus ReGen network, thanks in part to Nexus ReGen’s upcoming merchant trading tool.

The deal with Barratt Redrow is the largest to date by volume and revenue for Nexus ReGen. Earlier this year, it announced a deal with Persimmon.
