Autodesk adds collaboration tool for building and infrastructure components

Autodesk is claiming to be offering the first tool to enable teams of designers, engineers and contractors to collaborate on complex projects with both new building and infrastructure components in a single connected cloud platform.

Collaboration for Civil 3D, now included with a BIM 360 Design subscription, allows subscribers to work collaboratively with project partners, including architects, engineers and contractors, at any time and from anywhere, regardless of team locations and disciplines.

With the existing Revit Cloud Worksharing capabilities and the addition of Collaboration for Civil 3D to the same platform, designing airports, rail stations and other complex projects with vertical and horizontal structures is now simpler and more efficient.
