Directors from Skanska and Mace Consult have joined the panels for the final two webinars in the Digital Construction Summit.
Mace Consult global head of PMO and planning Zoe Madams joins the panel for this week’s webinar that features a sneak preview of the CIOB’s digital PMO playbook. In the webinar, members of the CIOB Innovation and Digital Advisory Panel will explore the key lessons, practical actions, and industry insights contained within the CIOB Digital Programme and Project Playbook.
Drawing on real-world experience from across the built environment, the session will examine how organisations can move beyond digital tools and platforms to establish disciplined information management, trusted data, ethical AI adoption, and effective leadership practices that support safer, more sustainable, and higher-performing programmes.
The webinar will provide practical guidance for clients, programme leaders, project managers, and digital professionals seeking to embed digital capability as a core element of professional practice.
As well as Madams, other speakers on the webinar include: HS2 head of digital information management James Daniel; Hadi Kazemi, course director project management, School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University; and Shona Hirons, director of Mindset in Motion.
No data, no gateway
Meanwhile, Skanska operational efficiency director Becki Taylor will take part in next week’s webinar entitled No data, no Gateway: quality, the golden thread and the Building Safety Act.
She will join a panel that also includes Rider Levett Bucknall senior building safety consultant Bex Gibson and a lawyer from Addleshaw Goddard. Along with Plan Radar account manager Liam Tegg, they will look at how quality assurance, digital information management and on-going building safety responsibilities are becoming increasingly interconnected across the whole building lifecycle, and why the golden thread is now a long-term evidential asset rather than a handover exercise.
Each webinar is free to attend and is broadcast live. Those who complete the webinar live via their own registration link will qualify for an hour’s CPD. CPD will not be awarded to those who watch via someone else’s registration link.
