The Association for Project Safety (APS) is sponsoring the Digital Construction Awards 2023.
The APS is returning to sponsor the Digital Innovation In Health, Safety and Wellbeing category, which it supported last year.
The Digital Construction Awards celebrate best practice and reward innovation in the application of BIM and digital technology in the built environment sector. The awards are run by Digital Construction Week (DCW), the Chartered Institute of Building, and Construction Management and BIMplus.
Lesley McLeod, chief executive of APS, said: ”It’s important to the APS to reinforce and highlight the role of information management and digital construction can have in improving the built environment’s performance in health, safety and wellbeing – and the Digital Construction Awards enable us to do just that.”
Construction Management editor Will Mann and DCW co-founder Ollie Hughes said: ”It’s fantastic to welcome the APS back to the Awards. We look forward to highlighting the industry’s outstanding work in improving health, safety and wellbeing.”
Entry criteria
The Digital Innovation In Health, Safety and Wellbeing category recognises the use of digitalisation, digital methodologies and/or technologies to enhance health, safety and wellbeing among workers on a construction project or projects.
Any organisation operating in the built environment can enter. This includes clients, contractors, architects, manufacturers and suppliers, technology firms, academia, and joint ventures/partnerships.
Entries should focus on work carried out between March 2022 and March 2023.
The deadline for entries is 17 March. Enter now.
There are another 11 categories.
The shortlisted entrants will be revealed on 9 May. The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 4 July at The Brewery in London.
