Amey employment scheme targets young offenders

Collaboration with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award charity aims to help reduce reoffending rates by improving employment prospects

Amey has partnered with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) charity to launch a programme aimed at enhancing employment prospects for young offenders post-release.

In collaboration with prison teams, Amey and DofE will co-develop a three-year programme that integrates vocational qualifications with the Bronze DofE Award.

The initiative, which will support up to 168 young offenders, builds on existing initiatives like Amey's Clean, Rehabilitative, Enabling and Decent (CRED) programme.
