Amey is doubling its Early Careers intake, with more than 200 roles expected to be available for 2026.

The move comes as the company welcomes more than 100 new graduates, apprentices and placement students this September.

Amey’s Early Careers programme offers candidates one-to-one mentoring from industry experts, the opportunity to contribute to live infrastructure projects, and support in working towards recognised qualifications through relevant professional bodies.

Michael Burgess, chief people officer at Amey, said: “It is important to invest in young talent and offer clear pathways for those starting their careers.

“It is also an exciting time for them to join Amey as our business is thriving, with ongoing international expansion and a number of recent contract wins.

“It is always energising to welcome young people from all walks of life, who bring new ideas and perspectives to help strengthen and shape Amey’s teams and projects.

“Our Early Careers programmes are about more than just training; they are about giving people the tools, confidence, and opportunities to make a real impact.”
