Wates has won a £50m deal to provide rapid responsive emergency works and planned maintenance work to dangerous structures in London, Dartford and Spelthorne.
The contract requires Wates to provide a rapid response 24 hours a day, all year round.
The London Borough of Hounslow has procured the contract on its behalf, as well as on the behalf of the London Dangerous Structures Consortium, made up of a group of London boroughs.
Appointment to the framework does not guarantee any work but the maximum estimated value of £50m has been provided to cover all unforeseen eventualities.
The deal was weighted 60% on quality and 40% on price and expires on 31 March 2025.
