A joint venture between Vinci and Sir Robert McAlpine has completed a delayed £107m new National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) in Nottingham.
The building opened this week after a six-month delay due to water quality issues. Water standards required for hospitals are more rigorous because some patients might be immunocompromised.
The JV partnership Integrated Health Projects (IHP) had to replace 183 mixer taps throughout the building, stabilise the hot water system and install a chlorine dioxide unit to prevent any future issues.
