A huge new hospital to house patients who have fallen ill after the outbreak of the coronavirus has been constructed in Wuhan, China, in just 10 days.
The prefabricated Huoshenshan hospital in Wuhan is capable of housing 1,000 patients.
It is based on a similar hospital set up in Beijing in 2003 to help tackle the SARS virus. Work began on 23 January and was completed on 2 February.
The timelapse video was released by Chinese state media.
The number of people infected by the virus in China has now hit 17,000, with a death toll of 361. Chinese authorities have already converted an empty building in Huanggang just outside Wuhan into a 1,000-bed emergency facility as they rapidly increase capacity for medical facilities.

Quite an achievement, but having built 4 hospitals myself, in addition to all the usual finishing problems, the equipment to run the hospital can take up to a year to get, plus the provision for it in the structure info would not be available in time leading to considerable structural rework, in sensitive areas. And the medgas testing plus the T&C is another major constraint
