The final tower crane at the delayed £800m Tottenham Hotspur stadium has finally been dismantled.
When construction was at its peak on the 62,000-capacity stadium, overseen by construction manager Mace, there were five tower cranes in place.
That number fell to three in September last year, shortly after Mace’s August announcement that the stadium would be delayed.
Mace’s work to finalist the project is now expected to continue through February. Meanwhile Spurs is liaising with contractors and building control at Haringey Council to determine a schedule of commissioning, building test dates and building control sign-offs, as well as formal test event dates.
That follows remedial work, resolving software issues connected to the stadium’s safety systems.
