A construction manager who left school without GCSEs has received the CIOB Paul Dockerill Award. He will use the £10,000 prize to develop an interactive 3D simulation designed to help residents and construction students better understand fire and building safety.

Applications are open for CIOB’s 2025 round of scholarships and grants, to support innovation, development and education.
