A group of over 150 organisations in the UK building industry, including the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), has put forward a plan for a new element for the building regulations, called Part Z.

Dacorum Borough Council, Nottingham City Council and South Ayrshire Council have won support from geographic information systems specialist Esri UK to take forward their digitalised planning projects.
