Balfour Beatty’s Midland Metropolitan University Hospital has been given the green light to open on 6 October – six years behind its original completion target.

Birmingham Hub members visited the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital site with Balfour Beatty in September.

Timber cladding that had been proposed for use on the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick near Birmingham but failed a fire test is expected to be replaced by a terracotta product.
