US fast food giant McDonald’s has announced that it will open over 200 new restaurants in the UK in the next four years as part of a £1bn investment in the British Islands and Ireland.

The UK’s first net zero McDonald’s has just opened in Shropshire, built by a supply chain full of low-carbon innovations. Kristina Smith reports.
