Balfour Beatty’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure business Urban Fox has agreed a contract with Newport City Council.

Urban Fox – a partnership between Balfour Beatty’s investment arm and startup Urban Electric Networks – has unveiled what it claims is Europe’s first fully retractable EV chargers in Dundee, Scotland.

BT has launched a pilot to repurpose near end-of-life green street cabinets used to store broadband and phone cabling as EV charge points.
