Balfour Beatty is using 70,000t of aggregate to build a £25m coastal defence along the shorelines of Cromer and Mundesley in Norfolk.

Kier has built a coastal defence in Blue Anchor beach, Somerset, to protect the cliffs, walls and a nearby road from continued erosion.

The Forge, on which Sir Robert McAlpine and Mace worked with client Landsec and designer Bryden Wood, was the clear winner of the Digital Construction Project of the Year category, sponsored by Revizto, at the Digital Construction Awards 2022.
