St Paul’s Cathedral is looking for a property and estate manager to support the director of property in managing the Cathedral’s estate, with particular focus on overseeing the property management at Amen Court in London and the estate at Tillingham, Essex.
Responsibilities will include:
- working to, and enhancing, the long-term vision for the Tillingham Estate to ensure this is a viable, income-generating asset;
- managing the agents who monitor tenancy agreements and rental income;
- supervising and monitoring the performance of professional advisers appointed to assist with property projects;
- working to the strategic plan and 15-year plan of works to improve accessibility, sustainability and relevant use of the space;
- supporting St Paul’s Cathedral commitment to achieving net carbon zero status;
- implementing a written and costed plan of cyclical and planned maintenance.
Membership of professional body such as RICS or CIOB is essential, along with responsible retrofit of historic buildings accreditation.
The postholder will also have, among other skills, an understanding of sustainability and achieving net zero, experience of commercial and residential property management, and good knowledge of building construction and maintenance.
The salary is £60,000 per annum.
