Skanska and Ikea’s offsite homes joint venture, BoKlok UK, has exchanged contracts on its first three developments.
The first three sites, across the south and south west of England, are in Worthing, Bristol and Peacehaven. Together, they will provide around 400 homes, subject to planning permission.
The completed homes are manufactured offsite in a facility in Estonia and fitted out with Ikea fittings.
Most of the homes will be for market sale, while a portion will be sold to local authorities and housing associations, to be part of their social housing schemes.
