Roofers can become chartered through new scheme

Roofing professionals can achieve chartered status (MCIOB) through a new route launched by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC).

The roofing chartered membership programme (CMP) is an accreditation pathway designed for professionals with at least five years’ experience in roofing and who manage people, processes or projects.

The initiative is part of CIOB’s growing range of sector-specific chartered membership programmes.

CIOB said that the CMP aligns with its commitment to raising standards and promoting professionalism across the built environment.
