Arco has launched a range of hand creams to help defend against occupational skin disorders such as dermatitis. The pre-work cream protects the skin from contaminants, including chemicals, oils and greases and can be used when it may not be practical to wear gloves. A gentle hand cleanser, available in three strengths, works with the pre-work cream to remove contaminants. Decra lightweight roof tiles can help specifiers meet revisions to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations that came into force last October, says manufacturer Icopal. The coated, galvanised steel tile panels look like traditional roof tiles, but cutting through them does not produce silica dust, which if inhaled can lead to the development of silicosis. The dust-free tiles also remove the need for onsite precautions needed to deal with dust. www.decra.co.uk
